Lebih dari sekadar metode penyembuhan, Balia merupakan upacara sakral yang bertujuan memanggil arwah nenek moyang untuk dimintai bantuan dalam mengusir roh jahat atau penyebab penyakit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-tertiary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0f8b3091d2e03bc35f71aaaf30948a94\">Upacara Balia dipimpin oleh seorang sando (dukun tradisional) yang memiliki kemampuan spiritual untuk berkomunikasi dengan roh leluhur. Prosesinya meliputi:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-custom-1-font-size\">\n<li>Persiapan: Keluarga menyiapkan sesajen berupa nasi ketan, telur ayam, daun sirih, pinang, dan tuak sebagai bentuk penghormatan kepada roh leluhur.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pemanggilan Roh: sando memasuki kondisi trance sambil membacakan mantra untuk memanggil arwah nenek moyang. More than merely a method of treatment, Balia is a sacred ceremony intended to summon the spirits of ancestors and seek their assistance in expelling evil spirits or other supernatural causes of illness.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d50b592387aef6a67a97be5ada2aeb86\"><em>The Balia ritual is led by a sando (traditional healer or shaman), who possesses spiritual abilities to communicate with ancestral spirits. The procession includes several stages:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color has-custom-1-font-size wp-elements-362cb17015e26ad0e0c05dcd90cf081c\">\n<li><em>Preparation: The family prepares offerings such as glutinous rice, chicken eggs, betel leaves, areca nuts, and palm wine (tuak) as a form of respect to the ancestral spirits.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Invocation of Spirits: The sando enters a trance state while chanting mantras to call upon the spirits of the ancestors.
