Rumah ini, merupakan rumah yang biasanya tinggali oleh bangsawan menengah. &#8220;Kataba&#8221; memiliki arti &#8220;Rumah Papan&#8221; karena lantai dan dinding Kataba terbuat dari papan. Kataba berbentuk persegi panjang dan masuk ke dalam jenis rumah panggung yang ditopang dengan tiang-tiang balok yang berlandaskan umpak batu. Sedangkan atapnya terbuat dari rumbia. Biasanya sebuah Kataba dihuni tiga-empat keluarga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-005323f1cb11c7a24043ebdece443bcf\"><em>The Kataba Traditional House is a type of dwelling used by the Kaili people who live along the coastal areas. This house was typically inhabited by members of the middle noble class. The word \u201cKataba\u201d means \u201cBoard House,\u201d referring to its floors and walls, which are made of wooden boards. The Kataba has a rectangular shape and belongs to the category of stilt houses, supported by timber posts set on stone foundations.
